The Language, Literature, and Writing degree with a concentration in English at Jamestown Community College prepares you to transfer into bachelor's degrees in fields related to English, writing, and literary studies. You can pursue careers in writing, editing and copywriting, journalism and reporting, public relations, and technical writing.
While at JCC, you’ll work closely with your advisor to choose your English courses and prepare for transferring after graduation. The English concentration is a SUNY Transfer Path, which can help you identify core coursework for transfer to four-year SUNY schools.
